About my Practice

Hi, I’m Adam. I am a Registered Psychologist with over 15 years of private clinical practice, and am a full member of the Australian Psychological Society.

My primary therapeutic approach is Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, which is an evidence-based treatment for anxiety and depressive disorders.

While my main focus areas are adult anxiety and depression, I have also used this approach for many other therapeutic applications including self-esteem, weight loss, anger management, sleep issues, motivation, panicking, grief and loss, and childhood residual issues.

I also have an interest in irrational fears and their modifications, such as needles, flying, creatures, germs, to name a few.

I am committed to the development of primary care in our community, with professional connections to general practice, and other health care professionals. Within my clinic setting, I work closely with general practice which means that coordinated outcomes for best patient care are achieved.

I believe that the cornerstones of a clinical practice are ethics and ethical practice, confidentiality, privacy, and client confidence; and I am committed to working at these high standards in all cases.

I welcome all enquiries about my services, and even myself. I understand that not all therapists are for everyone, and believe that honest beginnings make for positive and healthy outcomes. Please don’t hesitate to contact me if you have any questions, or would like to book an appointment.
